                                         ฝ่ายอ้วนสุดรู้ว่าลิโป้ได้เมืองชีจิ๋วแล้ว   จึงให้ทหารถือหนังสือรีบไปถึงลิโป้ว่า

       ให้ลิโป้ช่วยรบเล่าปี่ให้แตกจงได้   เราจะให้ม้าห้าร้อย   ข้าวห้าหมื่นถึง   ทองเงินหมื่นตำลึง   แพรพันพับ 

       ลิโป้แจ้งในหนังสือดังนั้นก็ดีใจ   จึงให้โกซุ่นคุมทหารห้าหมื่น

       ยกไปตีกระหนาบหลังเล่าปี่ๆ จึงปรึกษากวนอูเตียวหุยว่า  เรากำลังน้อยเห็นจะสู้เขามิได้ 

       เวลากลางคืนฝนตกหนัก   เล่าปี่   กวนอู   เตียวหุย  ก็ยกทหารออกจากค่ายจะไปเมืองกองเหลง 



             ฝ่ายโกซุ่นมาถึงรู้ว่าเล่าปี่ยกหนีไปแล้ว   จึงไปหากิเหลง  ณ   ค่าย   โกซุ่นจึงว่าแก่กิเหลงว่า

             บัดนี้เล่าปี่ก็หนีไปแล้ว  ของซึ่งนายท่านจะให้แก่นายเรานั้นเป็นประการใด  

             กิเหลงจึงตอบว่า   เนื้อความทั้งนี้เรายังมิได้แจ้ง  เรากลับไปเมืองแล้วจะถามอ้วนสุดดูก่อน

             แล้วกิเหลงก็ยกกลับไปบอกแก่อ้วนสุด          โกซุ่นก็กลับไปเมืองชีจิ๋วบอกแก่ลิโป้ว่า  

             เล่าปี่นั้นยกหนีไปแล้ว  ข้าพเจ้าพบกิเหลงได้ว่าด้วยสิ่งของ   กิเหลงว่าจะไปบอกอ้วนสุดผู้นายก่อน

                                                                ลิโป้ได้ยินดังนั้นก็คิดสงสัย

                               พอมีหนังสืออ้วนสุดมาถึงลิโป้ว่าท่านให้โกซุ่นยกไปก็จริงแต่มิได้รบพุ่ง

                              แล้วก็ยังมิได้ตัวเล่าปี่   ถ้าได้ตัวเล่าปี่เมื่อใดเราจะให้สิ่งของตามสัญญา

                                      ลิโป้เห็นหนังสือนั้นก็โกรธ   จึงว่าอ้วนสุดเจรจาหาความจริงไม่

                                           แล้วปรึกษากับทหารทั้งปวงว่า  เราจะยกไปรบอ้วนสุด



                                              ตันก๋งจึงว่าบัดนี้อ้วนสุดมาตั้งอยู่เมืองฉิวฉุนเป็นที่สำคัญ  

               ทหารมีฝีมือก็มาก  ข้าวปลาอาหารก็บริบูรณ์   ซึ่งท่านจะยกไปบัดนี้เห็นจะเสียทีแก่อ้วนสุด  

               ขอให้ท่านคิดอ่านเกลี้ยกล่อมเอาเล่าปี่มาไว้เมืองเสียวพ่ายก่อน

               เมื่อเราจะยกไปนั้นจะได้อาศัยเล่าปี่   กวนอู   เตียวหุย  เป็นกำลังเห็นการจะสำเร็จโดยสะดวก

               ลิโป้เห็นชอบด้วย   จึงให้ทหารถือหนังสือไปเชิญเล่าปี่




                                                  ฝ่ายเล่าปี่ยกหนีไปถึงเมืองกองเหลง  

                   พออ้วนสุดยกมาตีเมืองกองเหลงแตก   เล่าปี่หนีออกจากเมืองมาพบทหารลิโป้  

                   เล่าปี่เห็นหนังสือจึงปรึกษากับกวนอูว่า   ลิโป้ให้หนังสือมาหาเราไปเจ้าจะเห็นประการใด

                   กวนอูจึงว่าลิโป้เป็นคนพูดเพราะ   แต่เจรจาหาสัตย์มิได้   ซึ่งท่านจะคบสืบไปนั้นเห็นไม่สมควร

                   เล่าปี่จึงว่าบัดนี้ลิโป้ให้มาหาเราโดยดีจำเราจะไปจึงจะควร


             ฝ่ายลิโป้ให้ทหารถือหนังสือไปแล้วกลัวเล่าปี่จะไม่มา  

             จึงให้คุมเอาตัวนางกำฮูหยินกับนางบิฮูหยินซึ่งเป็นภรรยาเล่าปี่นั้นตามไปให้   จะให้เล่าปี่สิ้นสงสัย

             พอเล่าปี่ยกมาพบกันกลางทาง   เล่าปี่เห็นภรรยาก็ดีใจจึงถามว่าลิโป้ได้เมืองแล้ว

             พิทักษ์รักษาเจ้าทั้งสองประการใดบ้าง       นางกำฮูหยินนางบิฮูหยินบอกว่า  

             ลิโป้ให้ทหารพิทักษ์รักษามิให้ผู้ใดเข้าออกแปลกปลอมได้  

             แล้วจัดแจงหญิงให้ใช้สอยส่งข้าวปลาอาหารอยู่มิได้ขาด      

             เล่าปี่ว่าแก่กวนอู  เตียวหุยว่า  ข้าได้ว่าแต่เดิมทีว่า  อันลิโป้นั้นมีกตัญญูต่อเราอยู่ 

             เห็นจะไม่ทำร้ายแก่ครอบครัวเรา   จำเราจะเข้าไปหาลิโป้จึงจะควร

             กวนอูเห็นชอบด้วย   แต่เตียวหุยมีพยาบาทอยู่ไม่ขอเห็นหน้าลิโป้   

             จึงว่าพี่ทั้งสองจะไปก็ตามเถิด   แต่ตัวข้านี้จะพาพี่สะใภ้ไปอยู่เมืองเสียวพ่ายก่อน  

             แล้วเตียวหุยก็ลาเล่าปี่ไป   เล่าปี่กวนอูจึงพากันไปหาลิโป้


                                      ลิโป้จึงว่าแก่เล่าปี่ว่า   เราทำการทั้งนี้ใช่เราจะเห็นแก่สมบัติของท่านนั้นหามิได้ 

    เพราะเตียวหุยน้องท่านเสพสุราเมา   เรากลัวจะทำการหยาบช้าจะเกิดวุ่นวายกันขึ้น 

    เราจึงมาทำการทั้งนี้หวังจะรักษาเมืองไว้ให้ท่าน      

    เล่าปี่จึงว่าเมืองอันนี้แต่แรกเราก็ว่าจะให้ท่านอยู่อีกท่านมิยอม   บัดนี้ท่านมาตีได้เป็นเมืองของท่านก็ดีแล้ว

    เชิญท่านอยู่ให้เป็นสุขเถิด   ตัวเรากับสมัครพรรคพวกจะขอไปอยู่เมืองเสียวพ่าย  

    ลิโป้ก็ว่ากล่าวให้เล่าปี่อยู่รักษาเมืองดังกล่าว         เล่าปี่มิยอมอยู่ก็ลาลิโป้ไปเมืองเสียวพ่าย  

    แต่กวนอู  เตียวหุย นั้นคิดพยาบาทลิโป้อยู่มิขาด        เล่าปี่แจ้งในกิริยากวนอูเตียวหุยจึงว่า 

    เจ้าอย่าเพ่อคิดอ่านวุ่นวายก่อน  จงค่อยทรมานไปจนกว่าจะได้ทีของเรา  จึงจะได้คิดการต่อไป 

    ฝ่ายลิโป้ก็ส่งข้าวของไปให้เล่าปี่เนืองๆ    เล่าปี่กับลิโป้นั้นก็ปรกติกันอยู่   มิได้กินแหนงกัน

                                   อ้วนสุดก็โกรธจึงว่าเล่าปี่นั้นชาติอ้ายทอเสื่อขาย   บัดนี้ได้เป็นเจ้าเมืองแล้ว 

                                   คิดการกำเริบจะล่วงมาตีเอาเมืองเราๆ จะนิ่งให้มันมาเหยียบถึงแดนเราไย  

                                   จึงให้กิเหลงทหารเอกเป็นแม่ทัพคุมทหารสิบหมื่นยกไปตีเมืองชีจิ๋ว


                กิเหลงยกทหารมาถึงแดนเมืองอุไถ  เห็นทัพเล่าปี่ยกมา        กิเหลงก็ให้ตั้งค่ายอยู่พอแลเห็นกัน

                ฝ่ายเล่าปี่พอเห็นกิเหลงชาวเมืองซัวตั๋งยกมาจึงคิดว่าทหารเราน้อย 

                ให้ตั้งค่ายลงเป็นหน้ากระดานต่อเนินเขา   ตลอดลงไปเอาแม่น้ำ       

                กิเหลงเห็นดังนั้นจึงขึ้นม้าถือง้าวหนักห้าสิบชั่ง  คุมทหารออกไปถึงหน้าค่ายเล่าปี่   แล้วร้องด่าเล่าปี่ว่า

                อ้ายชาวป่ามึงมีฝีมือสักเพียงใดจึงบังอาจยกมาทำสงครามถึงเมืองอุไถซึ่งขึ้นแก่เมืองลำหยง 

                เล่าปี่จึงว่าอ้วนสุดเป็นกบฏแข็งเมืองไว้   พระเจ้าเหี้ยนเต้จึงใช้กูให้ยกกองทัพมาปราบปรามอ้วนสุด
